Print Collage

Workshop Details
Spend the whole morning or an afternoon in the workshop using an image that you have chosen to turn into a bespoke mixed media art collage. You will choose from a variety of collage papers that have been made using various tools for mark making on the gel plate, overprinted prints and stamped prints that have interesting textures in various colours of your choice to make your interesting art piece. Learn how to separate your animal/other image into components whilst considering colour combinations. You will have the option of incorporating additional details into the background or embossing or gilding some finer details to add further interest to your artwork if time allows once your art has been assembled. All materials are included, but you will need to bring an image of the animal (or other) of your choice as inspiration for your collage to this session...you will use this image to guide your collage shapes and so it will will need to be suitable to breakdown into sections similar to how the penguin class image has been done. It will need to fit comfortably onto A4 in an area that you are happy with. If you do not have a printer please send Floss the image via email for her to print ready for you to use in the class at least 24 hours beforehand. All abilities are very welcome and no experience is necessary as all techniques are fully demonstrated. Please wear old clothes as printing, painting and gluing can be messy. Aprons are provided; or you can bring your own if you'd prefer. This is an 3.5 hr ADULT session. If you wish to book all six spaces at once please email me for a 15% discount code before booking.
