Workshop Details
Enjoy creating a bespoke beautiful piece of mixed media art. You will be using a variety of techniques to create layers; add textures using gesso, make colourful backgrounds with stencils and adding finishing touches that will truly personalise your art using gilding or embossing if time allows. It is helpful to come with a bit of an idea in mind of what you would like to have as your theme/focal point on your page...eg. animals / botanicals / hearts / words / abstract / birds / sea life etc. You will need to bring a printed image for inspiration on A5 or A4 in this session. Please email your image to me to print for you if you do not have access to a printer. All materials will be included and techniques fully demonstrated. All abilities are very welcome and no experience is necessary... Please wear old clothes as printing and gluing can be messy. Aprons are provided; or you can bring your own if you'd prefer. If the workshop does not fall on a day or a time that is convenient to you, please do get in touch and I will try to schedule something helpful in in the following months.
