Gel plate printing collage rainbows
Workshop Details
In this workshop you will be looking at colour tones and patterns to create rainbows. You will use various tools for mark making and different papers to create variation on the gel plate with acrylics. You will make several sheets to then use for collaging into the rainbow arcs, you will create backgrounds and add further details, including hand and/or machine stitching if time allows. Your own bespoke rainbow pieces can be left singular or put in a mini series mounted together or even made into tags...you know me...never two the same to leave the workshop :) All materials are included and techniques fully demonstrated. All abilities are very welcome and no experience is necessary... Please wear old clothes as printing, painting and gluing can be messy. Aprons are provided; or you can bring your own if you'd prefer.
