WHAT YOU WILL DO Transform your chosen image into a unique printing design with minimal drawing skills Learn to create a card printing plate Sponge colour to the gel plate design Print/pull multiple vibrant works using a gel plate technique optional - for added flair...Add stamped extras to the print if further detail is required **optional - Add chalk pastels to your printing plate after all printing is completed** WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING... An image of what you would like to make into a print; this must not be any larger than 240 x 160mm (roughly 3/4 of an A4 sheet)...I would suggest a reasonably basic design if this is your first time doing this class. If you do not have a printer please send Floss the image via email for her to print ready for you to use in the class at least 24 hours beforehand. WHAT YOU WILL TAKE HOME A4 Gel Print Artwork(s) A reusable printing plate or **chalked collage** Notes detailing collagraph techniques & materials used HOW LONG IS THE SESSION - 3.5 hours WHO IS THIS THIS CLASS SUITABLE FOR? Perfect for all abilities aged 17 and over, including absolute beginners as no previous experience is necessary...Remember to wear old clothes as printing, painting and gluing can be messy but don't worry...aprons are provided WHAT'S INCLUDED? All materials are included Complimentary tea, coffee and/or herbal tea is provided. It will also allow others to have the opportunity to take your space at short notice using resources I will have prepared. No refund/rescheduling will be made for short notice.
