Family Mixed Media Workshop
A fun session for all the family using lots of different techniques
- 20 British pounds£20
- Danecroft Place
This workshop is suitable for those who would like to explore some creative techniques such as the use of gesso, stencilling, stamping, asemic writing (where it seeks to make the reader hover in a state between reading and looking) and the use of negative space used in mixed media art. It allows you to brave the white page and add textures to give you a start into intuitive art. It will introduce you to a world of creative possibilities where you can mix different principles for a more textured/layered outcome. If that sounds all too detailed or scary...let me put it more simply...You will do some sticking and gluing, collage, add texture areas, paint a little, use stencils to add details and stamp images too...The butterfly title page image is an example of an outcome. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to book and join in the fun! Please wear old clothes as painting and gluing can be messy. Aprons are provided; you can bring your own if you'd prefer. All ages (from 7 years) and abilities are welcome and all materials are provided. I look forward to seeing you in the workshop. Floss
