Workshop Details
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING... Explore creativity using various media and techniques on a single piece with instructor guidance Minimal collage and tape surface Subtle gesso blending Add texture and depth with paint, sponges, and stencils Design your own stencil/mask butterfly (or other if you'd rather a different shape!) Emboss, gild, and/or hand/machine stitch detail WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Just your lovely self...everything is provided As always, do feel free to bring your own journal to use in this session. WHAT WILL I TAKE HOME? A bespoke piece of art on 300gsm card/recycled cardboard using a variety of techniques & materials Your unique butterfly (or other...hence the or not!) template Notes detailing your artistic journey & materials used WHAT'S INCLUDED? All materials are provided Techniques are thoroughly demonstrated Complimentary tea, coffee or herbal teas WHO IS THIS THIS CLASS SUITABLE FOR? Perfect for all abilities aged 17 and over, including absolute beginners as no previous experience is necessary...Remember to wear old clothes as printing, painting and gluing can be messy but don't worry...aprons are provided. It will also allow others to have the opportunity to take your space at short notice using resources I will have prepared. No refund/rescheduling will be made for short notice.
