Asemic writing is an artistic effect that can be added to your work. It is marks that have the appearance of writing yet on closer inspection cannot be read. It's a way of adding feelings into your work but keeping the privacy of what you have written to yourself at the same time as adding another interesting layer to your art... WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING... A guided session of exaggerating lines Experiment with spacing with your writing/mark making. Embracing the beauty of illegibility with imperfection adding to the outcome Create a bespoke mixed media layered art piece which includes using gesso, stencilling and mark making Use your new assemic skills as a focal element within your mixed media art piece WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Perfect for all abilities aged 17 and over, including absolute beginners as no previous experience is necessary...Remember to wear old clothes as printing, painting and gluing can be messy but don't worry...aprons are provided.
